  • We had a wonderful stay with our 2.5 toddler who absolutely loved the outdoors and animals. The Granary has been converted into a lovely high standard living space - it's cosy and feels like home away from home! The location is perfect for exploring the area, taking lovely walks and visiting local pubs. We also loved the fresh eggs!

We loved our four days at the Granary. It was extremely comfortable, absolutely perfect for us and heaven for our two dogs. William and his family are charming, giving us lots of suggestions for places to eat, shop, visit, and dog walk. We were even given fresh eggs from the family’s hens. William gave great attention to detail and he made us feel like nothing was too much trouble.

  • Lovely space on a very charming property, in a very convenient location just off the a4 to Bath. Lovely village, local walks with the dog and village cafe was perfect for a hearty breakfast.
The host family could not have been more helpful & friendly. We’ll be back no doubt.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the Granary. Will and his family were so friendly and quick to help with whatever we needed.

The accommodation was spacious, private and peaceful, everything we wanted for a short getaway. We enjoyed friendly visits from the dog, Horace, and spending time with the pony too.

Will taught us all about natural beekeeping and how his organic farm runs, he even kindly took the time to let us know the best woods and fields to explore to see deer and other wildlife.

There are lots of wild foods around to forage and peaceful woodland walks, we loved it. The Jolly Huntsman pub is great for a pint and dinner plus you’re only 30 mins from Bath, and there’s lots to see and do in the city.

We really couldn’t recommend enough, book this stay you won’t be disappointed.

A beautiful space in a lovely farm with a lovely family. We felt really lucky to find it. Ideal for kids and would have been ideal for dogs too had ours been able to cope with the 7 hour journey! William and family were attentive host s. We particularly liked seeing all the animals and getting fresh eggs. Lovely village to and woodland walks in the doorstep

A very generous space for 6 nights with our dog. The outside space was particularly helpful as we were experiencing very hot weather.

A good launching point for attractions from Bath to the South, into the Cotswolds or up to Tetbury and Malmesbury.

The hosts were generous and very welcoming.

William and his family were wonderful, very helpful hosts and gave us a real farm and countryside experience. A lovely accommodation with bright and airy rooms and all the equipment you may need. Especially nice to have direct access to the garden through the French windows with view of greenery, ducks and a pony. Highly recommended!

  • We have just spent 6 days at The Granary and would thoroughly recommend this place to other travellers. We were travelling as a couple with our dog Rennie and it is perfectly set up - a private garden for him to hang out (and sometimes play with Will's dog Horace), its really spacious inside and is light, beautiful and really comfortable. We had to cancel a trip to Orkney and so booked this at the last minute without knowing much about the local area but loved discovering it - Westonbirt Arboretum, Castle Coombe, every time we stopped for lunch at a local pub we had great food, great footpaths directly from the barn, the woodland behind, lovely running routes locally (and next time we'd bring our bikes - we saw lots of cyclists), we also visited Corsham and Bradford on Avon. Will and Lotte are great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

The Granary was a perfect place for us to stay with our son - a lovely clean flat, a farm buzzing with bees, chickens and the horse William, a lovely nearby village with a playground, cafe and pub, countless gorgeous villages and areas of natural beauty and William and his lovely family who were so welcoming and went above and beyond to give us a good experience. I would highly recommend it

  • The accommodation is great and situated in a lovely place. Clean, well furnished and fantastic views. You can enjoy your private garden & admire the farm animals from afar or explore the field and get that little closer. Lovely walks close to accommodation and lots of beautiful places to visit by car. William the host was very welcoming and friendly. Provided lots of information and tips to explore. Highly recommend staying at the Granary Shed.

The Granary Shed was the perfect place to return to after each day of exploring Wiltshire and Somerset. We loved waking up to the beautiful view and bird song each morning. Your sheepskin rugs were a treat and we are looking forward to adding a couple to our new home soon.

We really enjoyed our stay at the granary barn. The property is really well equipped and nicely put together. It’s spacious and airy with modern fixtures in the kitchen and a lovely big bath. The private garden area was an unexpected bonus. William was really friendly and welcoming, answering all our questions ahead of time and leaving some essentials for us - including eggs from the farm’s chickens and ducks! The property is really well located for some great walks to nearby villages and pubs and a William was kind enough to provide a walking map of the local area. Overall a great short stay and we would definitely come again!

  • We could not be more thankful to William and his family for our time there. The space is more spacious then we expected (4 of us for 5 nights, with a 4yo and 7yo) and very cosy, also huge bathtub and lots of light, all necessities. We were greeted with fresh eggs from the farm, bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. The location and grounds are truly wonderful - view from the garden is a huge and the village, extremely quiet and green. There are plenty of trails to do from there, forest next to farm, walk to Castle Combe, you can walk to the local village pub. Plenty to see around the area as well (Lacock, Cirencester...). William was a spectacular host with plenty of advice on area, always ready to help us if needed, and gave our children a true farm experience (collected eggs from hen-house, fed the horse etc.) We highly recommend the cottage as we had a fantastic time and will definitely try and go back.
