- Absolutely amazing and luxurious apartment, all the mod cons you need but in a really tastefully decorated and historical building and street, with the main town centre and Roman Baths etc only half a mile away and sites like the Royal Crescent just round the corner. Some great bars and restaurants on your doorstep too. Perfect for a city break in Bath. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and being a historical building there is obviously no lift, so if stairs are an issue obviously consider that.

Downstairs
As you enter, you are welcomed into a spacious open-plan area. To your left, a cosy living space with comfortable sofas and a TV offers the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The sleek, fully equipped kitchen features high-end appliances and a central island – ideal for both cooking and socialising. In the kitchen area, you’ll also find a large dining table with chairs, perfect for family meals or entertaining guests. The ground floor also includes a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, along with a convenient downstairs WC.
Upstairs
Bedroom One – The spacious master bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed, an en suite shower room, and a private balcony with seating.Bedroom Two – A comfortable double bedroom with built-in wardrobes offering plenty of storage space.Bedroom Three – Furnished with two twin beds, ideal for children or friends sharing.A generous, contemporary family bathroom completes the upstairs layout, featuring a free-standing bath and a walk-in shower.
Outside
The private garden offers ample space for a tranquil spot to enjoy a meal or a drink, with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ area. Whether you’re starting the day with a quiet coffee or ending it with dinner under the stars, the setting provides a perfect escape into nature.There are a number of family games provided, both indoor and outdoor, making it ideal for all ages. The location is perfect for bird and nature watching—rabbits, deer, and Muntjac are regularly seen just outside the house. It’s also wonderfully private, offering a peaceful retreat.Rechargeable outdoor lighting is available for relaxing in the evening and can be stored away to reduce light pollution at night. Outdoor blankets are also provided for added comfort.Quarry Nest is thoughtfully equipped for families, sleeping up to six guests. A travel cot and highchair are provided. We also accept well-behaved pets, so your furry friends are welcome too.The home is also fitted with eco-friendly underfloor heating powered by heat-pump technology, and an electric vehicle charging point is available to guests.

Other things to note
While the house is completed, the wider site is still under phased construction. You may notice building activity elsewhere on the estate, but this should not affect your stay. The estate is a former quarry, and the terrain can be muddy, so we recommend bringing wellies or suitable walking shoes if you plan to explore the surroundings.
The location
The house is located in the Cookswood development spanning over 400 acres and set to encompass over 100 homes. As of 2024, approximately 30 homes have been completed. As the site is still under development some areas may be restricted due to the ongoing work. The house is located in a completed cluster with no active construction near by however you may see and hear some work happening in other areas of the site but this should not impact your stay
It is important to note that the nature of the site, being an old quarry, can be muddy if you go walking. Guests are advised to come prepared with wellies or suitable footwear.
The house also has parking up to 4 cars. 2 cars can be parked at the house and 2 to be parked at reception.
Please note this property is not a party/ hen do/ stag house as it is situated in a quiet, rural environment.

★ Please do not smoke in the house (inc. vaping & e-cigarettes).
★ Please do not wear shoes inside.
★ Please avoid making an unreasonable amount of noise, particularly after 11pm.
★ No candles/naked flames inside or outside.
