About the apartment
The penthouse is ideal for friends, family and colleagues – a perfect city centre location in the heart of the Old City with views out to the countryside beyond. The light and spacious reception room has comfortable sofas, a dining table for up to 6 guests, a wall mounted smart tv. The two double bedrooms have high quality cotton bed linen and towels, wall mounted TV’s, cupboards and hair dryers. Both bedrooms have hotel style beds which can be arranged as super king doubles or twin single beds. Additionally, there is a large sofa bed in the reception room. The BOSCH designed kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining, with an extensive array of utensils, glassware, china and cutlery, a built in professional coffee machine, hob/oven/grill, washing machine/dryer, microwave and fridge freezer.
GUEST ACCESS
The penthouse is entirely self contained with all rooms leading off the central hall, where there is a storage cupboard for coats and luggage. There are both a cot and highchair available, but please note infants are included in our maximum of 6 guests.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
The apartment is in the heart of historic Bath, within minutes of the major tourist venues, the best shopping streets, popular bars and restaurants as well as inter- city transport. From here you can visit Bristol in under half an hour and there are also direct trains to the coast.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The penthouse is on the 3rd floor of a grade 2 listed building with wide, well -lit stair access and two broad mezzanine levels. Please note, however, that there is no lift/elevator. The apartment is a short, flat walk from : BATH SPA RAILWAY STATION, TOURIST OFFICE, BATH ABBEY, THE ROMAN BATHS AND PUMP ROOM, THERMAE SPA and the main SOUTHGATE shopping district. Linen for the sofa bed is provided when booking for guest 5 and 6. If you wish to use the sofa bed when booking for under 5 people there is an extra £15 charge to cover linen costs.
GETTING AROUND
A taxi rank is directly opposite the apartment. There is also additional parking in Manvers street car park. The railway station (Bath Spa) and Bath coach station are less than 5 mins walk from the apartment. Shuttle buses operate to Bath university, the American museum, the Bath city tour from approx. 3 mins walk away. The tourist office is also less than 5 mins away and can help you to book scenic tours to places such as Stonehenge and Longleat.
