Recently refurbished, this modern 3-bedroom property is situated at the heart of Bath’s Artisan Quarter and benefits from a private terrace looking out over the Avon Valley.

Just a 10 minute walk from the city centre and the famous Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge and Roman Baths. The house is also a short walk from the beautiful Hedgemead Park with all the delights of Walcot Street right on your door.

A beautiful period town house, elegantly and sumptuously decorated. The carpet is like walking on air and the house is warm and inviting. The hot tub on the terrace, with stunning views, really made our stay. Host gave good advice prior, and was easy to contact during visit, to resolve a query. I would definitely return and recommend.

We had a lovely stay! The flat was perfect for our family (two adult couples and ones child). The living space was fabulous, and the hot tub was the perfect antidote to sore legs after a long day. Walking distance to all main attractions, modern, and clean.

We also took recommendations on food from the Welcome Guide that were fab.

Good communication with the owners.

Beautiful house, perfect location, and incredible hosts! We stayed here with friends during a trip back to the UK from the US. The house is immaculate and the views from the terrace are incredible. You’re in the heart of the city but it still wasn’t too noisy for our young family. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating too when we encountered some issues with our car at the end of the trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to come again.

Fantastic location, superb accommodations! Clean, modern and perfect for our little stay. I’m just bummed it was raining during our stay so we couldn’t use the jacuzzi. Next time!!

We had a lovely stay here in July, the house is beautiful and the hot tub was lovely. Easy to walk to anywhere in the centre of Bath from the location. All communication was quick and clear prior to our stay!

What a great spot to visit bath. Clean and well equipped. Location is walkable to everything. We didn’t mind the stairs but don’t forget something in the upstairs bedroom. Great design and bathrooms are top notch Our only issue we’re the seagull noise at first light (4am) but the city of bath is working on that problem. Will definitely come back.

About the property

Spirit House is a stylish and spacious choice for weekends and short breaks in Bath. Arranged over 3 floors you’ll find an open-plan living area and kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms – ideal for friends and families to share. The outside terrace with hot tub is perfect for spending relaxing evenings in and the location is excellent to explore Bath from.

LIVING SPACE

On the 1st floor of the building the living area has a comfy sofa, smart TV and dining table.

KITCHEN

The kitchen leads on from the living room and has everything you’ll need for your stay, including: hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and microwave. There are doors leading out from the kitchen onto the terrace.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

Bedroom 1 is on the second floor and has a comfy king-size bed and en-suite bathroom.

Bedroom 2 is on the third floor and also has a king-size bed.

Bedroom 3 is on the third floor and has a double bed.

Bedrooms 2 & 3 share a shower room on the third floor.

The house boasts two elegant bathrooms with modern features; one shower room and one luxurious bathroom featuring a generous roll top bath with views over the beautiful city of Bath.

TERRACE

The outside space is a private terrace with a table and chairs and hot tub.

MANAGED LOCALLY

The house is hosted by Chris who takes care of the day to day management. Chris is based locally and always on hand to help.

PARKING

Due to the city centre location, the apartment doesn’t come with parking. If you’re looking for parking during your stay we would recommend Charlotte Street Car park which is covered by CCTV and is open Mon–Sun, 24 hours a day.

The location

Walcot Street is the heart of Baths ‘Artisan Quarter’ with many quirky shops and cafes, such as Walcot House, nearby. You’ll find a whole host of independent traders, selling everything from homeware to clothing, with plenty of eateries in between. The area is steeped in history, dating as far back as Roman times and is thought by some to be the oldest commercial street in Bath. With regular flea markets, artisan sellers, and some great coffee it’s not hard to see why locals and visitors alike enjoy a stroll along Walcot Street!
