  • Wyatt House is a wonderful place to stay, clean and near to everything in Bath! We cooked a big meal there and had everything we needed and the sitting room is a lovely space to relax in. The beds were really comfy and the decor is perfectly put together. Would really recommend.

  • A homely home with lovely interior design. Had a few WiFi issues and some friends didn’t have mobile signal in the home. A short 10-15mins walk into town and about 20mins to/from the station - there is also a steep hill to the house to bare in mind.

    Rachel Avatar

Wyatt House is very well located for a visit to Bath, though do be warned it's a steep walk up from the station! We had a few wifi problems, but otherwise found the house a great place to relax and spend a few days exploring Bath

Very comfortable and ideally situated for simple short walk to all shops and attractions. Car parking busy and a challenge to park near but host very helpful and offers free parking permit.

  • Great location, comfortable space and easy check in/out process. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed staying at Christopher's place. It was homely but still felt like a luxury stay. The location was also ideal - not too far from the centre, and right round the corner from a small playground which made all the difference with the kids. I'd definitely book to stay again.

  • The house was immaculately clean and ideally located just a short distance from the town, shops, restaurants and the famous royal crescent leading to Royal Victoria park. My girls loved the comfortable bunk beds. I enjoyed the nearby Green Bird cafe for breakfast.
The house has lots of original features such as the shutters. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini break.

  • A beautiful property full of character and in a great location. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

The apartment is well located both within a short walk to the city centre but also up on the hill which provided beautiful views. The beds were comfortable and the lay out worked well for my family of 5. Easy check in and out.

  • Fantastic location and a really cool place to stay, great communication throughout. If you plan to drive make sure you sort out parking beforehand (our mistake!) as there aren’t any longer stay parking spaces nearby. Not sure why it is listed as an Air BnB ‘Plus’, as it didn’t seem to offer anything above and beyond the many other places we have rented in the past, but it’s a great place to stay nonetheless. It definitely feels like a Air BnB that is run by a management company, which is positive as they are super responsive and efficient, but I find you lose the individuality and personal touches that you feel when communicating with actual owner of the property.

Chris was a wonderful Host. Communicative, accommodating and very helpful. We had a really lovely stay. The house is spacious, very comfortable and immaculately clean, with top notch amenities throughout the house. Situated in a wonderfully picturesque location. I would highly recommend

About the property

This contemporary, exceptionally stylish, period house with two bathrooms and original features adding character throughout is a rarity in the city centre — the entire house to call your own!

With large sash windows, original shutters and classic Georgian woodwork, the spacious, stylish living space comes complete with a selection of classic books, travel guides, vinyl records and board games to keep you occupied — as well as a unique hideout for the kids with their bunk beds tucked away behind folding doors!

Overlooking the courtyard, the light and airy kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer as well as the basics to welcome you including tea and coffee. Spacious enough to prepare your meals, enjoy your morning coffee or make a well-earned G&T after a hard day’s sightseeing…

The master bedroom is finished in modern, muted tones for a great night’s sleep, with a comfortable double bed and period features bringing a unique Georgian character to the room. The second bedroom is tucked away on the lower ground floor with two single beds and crisp bed linen, whilst the kids can enjoy scaling the heights of the bunk bed in the third bedroom, located just off the living room.

The house boasts two elegant bathrooms with modern features; one shower room and one luxurious bathroom featuring a generous roll top bath with views over the beautiful city of Bath.

A private courtyard comes equipped with table and chairs for a spot of alfresco dining in the summer months.

The house is owned by Dom and hosted by Chris who takes care of the day to day management. Chris is based locally and always on hand to help.

Due to the central location, unfortunately the property doesn’t come with an allocated space or permit. If you’re looking for a car park, we would recommend Charlotte Street long-stay (postcode: BA1 2NE). There are always spaces available and it’s monitored by cameras.

The cost is currently £15 for 12 hours, £30 for 48 hours, but please double check this. The maximum stay is 7 days (you can pay for your parking at the machines or online at MI Permits website or app). Otherwise we would suggest coming by train, where possible.

The location

Wyatt House is just off Lansdown Hill in the heart of the city. Walk just 12 minutes to reach the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa, and the Pump Room Restaurant. The Royal Crescent and Victoria Park are even closer, as are the Theatre Royal and a cinema.

The house is about a 20-minute walk from Bath Spa train station and the main bus station. We would recommend that you take a short taxi ride to the house, or the number 6, 6A or 7 bus from the bus station, if you don’t fancy the walk or you have heavy bags.
