Lovely apartment! It had everything we needed for our weekend visit, and the location was great too, everything was only a short walk.
The apartment itself had great character but all modern essentials and a lovely bathroom. Would recommend!

Absolutely amazing and luxurious apartment, all the mod cons you need but in a really tastefully decorated and historical building and street, with the main town centre and Roman Baths etc only half a mile away and sites like the Royal Crescent just round the corner. Some great bars and restaurants on your doorstep too. Perfect for a city break in Bath. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and being a historical building there is obviously no lift, so if stairs are an issue obviously consider that.

The review covers the good and a few things to note if you’re travelling with kids.

Good:
1. The apartment is very stylish
2. Location is central so its very convenient
3. The place is professionally maintained so expect things to be tidy and clean.
4. Has a microwave, an electic stove, and a dishwasher
5. The beds are comfy

And now here comes a few things to be aware of if you’re travelling with kids especially toddlers:
1. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and there is no lift. This could be a hassle if you’re travelling with a lot of luggage which were for 2 kids
2. The windows are not double glazed. This means the street noise is not blocked. You can hear the cars driving past, the people being merry in the pub downstairs, car alarms going off etc
3. There is no bath tub, instead there is a walk-in shower in the bathroom with tile floors. This can be slippery and therefore not a place for a toddler to take a bath.

A fab apartment in a beautiful building. The location is perfect. We loved the decor and the layout. The beds and sofas were very comfie. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Great little find

Myself and 2 friends stayed here. Excellent location, has everything you need if eating out - has a job but no oven so fine for breakfast but tricky if you wanted to cook an evening meal. Perfect for what we needed and would definitely stay again!

About the apartment

Situated in a classic Georgian building with high ceilings, chandeliers, shutters, and feature fireplace, the apartment has been updated to include all the modern facilities for you to relax and unwind. Maybe sit and watch the world go by through the tall sash windows! The lounge has comfortable sofas and a smart TV with Netflix. The kitchen area has seating at a breakfast bar and everything you need to prepare a light lunch or quick dinner. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with luxury toiletries. Bedroom one has an upholstered super king bed, which can split into two singles if required. The second bedroom also has an upholstered double bed incorporating a clever side access wardrobe, and there is an extra sofa bed in the lounge area.

KITCHEN/LIVING SPACE

The kitchen area is fully equipped with a combination microwave, two ring induction hob, fridge with freezer section, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There’s an island with seating.

The lounge area has a sofa bed with memory foam mattress, a large smart TV (with Netflix). Free Wifi is included for your stay.

BEDROOMS

There are 2 bedrooms in the apartment. Bedroom 1 has a large, comfy super king bed (which can split into singles upon request) and built-in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has a comfy double bed and side access wardrobe.

SHOWER ROOM

The shower room has a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. Towels and toiletries are included.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will be able to access the apartment themselves using a code.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Please note that the kitchen is a kitchenette and so does not have an oven.

The apartment is on the second floor and is accessed from an elegant entrance hall and a gently rising Bath stone staircase.

The location

The apartment is located next to the Assembly Rooms in the city centre. From here the majority of the major attractions, shops, cafes and restaurants are just a short walk away.

PARKING

Due to the central location, unfortunately the property doesn’t come with an allocated space or permit. If you’re looking for a car park, we would recommend Charlotte Street long-stay (postcode: BA1 2NE). There are always spaces available and it’s monitored by cameras.
