What adelightful place. Whoever did the decorating has a professional Style. I was impressed with all of the attention to detail. The location was very good. We were with n a 5-minute walk to the centre of Bath one direction and 3 blocks in the other to a large grocery store. This has been my family's favourite place on our trip. However, I must warn those who are not familiar with old English housing that there are are lots of stairs to go up and down. The Host was very prompt in answering our questions and allowing us a little more time forcheckout.

Charming house in great central location in Bath. Easy to walk everywhere which we liked. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had everything we could need. Lovely first floor bathroom. Parking for one car using permit provided was excellent as we were able to park very close to house. Fairly level walk to all attractions and large Sainsburys was a few mins walk from house. We were a group of 3 and loved our stay at Murphy’s house.
There are 4 floors so lots of stairs, it was ok for us but may not be for everyone. Would be happy to stay there again.

A very nice place close to the city centre. The host was very responsive and helped to resolve a minor miscommunication about the price when we needed to extend our stay due to a cancelled flight.

The location of the Airbnb is excellent. Made an excellent base so we could explore Bath knowing we didn’t have far to travel back for a place to sleep.

Beautiful house in the heart of Bath - hugely easy to walk to anywhere needed in the centre (about 5 minutes, if that!). Beds are very comfortable and shower is amazing.

Communication with the host was great - quick and hugely helpful. Lots of lovely recommendations for food nearby.

This is a stunning older house, and does have single glazing (I imagine the original windows!) so do make sure to pack jumpers if staying in the winter, as some of our guests were a little chilly. However, the host provided lots of extra blankets and throws to keep us cosy, and you can close the shutters and curtains provided for extra warmth if desired.

The House was perfectly situated for all of Bath's attractions and we managed to find a parking space which was fantastic as we didn't plan on using the car. The house was very bit as perfect as we were hoping it would be.

It is very close to Bath so fantastic for dining out and walking around town. The parking permit is great (if you can find a spot!) The place itself has very comfortable beds and lovely kitchen/playroom area at the bottom. The washing machine and tumble dryer were a great addition for travellers with limited clothing. The bath tub is huge!
Do be aware there is 4 floors which might be a problem if you have small children. Even though the Nest wasn’t working for us the place was warm with the heating working anyway.

This house is wonderful. It is very well situated, just a short walk from the town centre. The house has lots of character and the furnishings are in keeping with this character. Beds are very comfortable. The parking permit is also a big plus. We had no problems at all finding somewhere to park whenever needed. One of the best places we have stayed in, without a doubt.

Tucked away in a quiet, classically Bathonian square in the centre of town this exceptionally spacious, terraced house with a large outdoor courtyard is warm and welcoming making it a home-away-from-home for your city break!

LIVING SPACE

Complete with a generous corner sofa and rocking chair, the living space is cosy and relaxing but still with plenty of space for you to unwind. The feature fireplace and shutters add character while the bookshelves are lined with books for you to choose from before you curl up on the sofa…

KITCHEN

The large, eat-in kitchen is well equipped with a Rangemaster gas hob and electric oven, washing machine and dryer and fridge freezer as well as the basics to welcome you including tea and coffee. Just off the kitchen is the snug, which can be used as a workspace, nestled under a vaulted ceiling.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

The master bedroom is light and airy and has a comfy memory foam mattress. Bedroom 2 is a cosy twin and bedroom 3 has bunk beds – ideal for children. All bedrooms are cosy and relaxing spaces to unwind in after a busy day sightseeing…

The house boasts two luxurious bathrooms with stylish fittings; one wetroom and one bathroom, both finished in polished stone and with plenty of space for the ultimate relaxing bubble bath.

OUTSIDE

A generous, enclosed courtyard comes equipped with outdoor furniture for al fresco evenings in the summer months.

Murphys House is in an ideal spot to enjoy all that Bath has to offer. You’ll find the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa, Pump Room Restaurant and The Rec just a 10-minute walk away, and the impressive Royal Crescent and Victoria Park are about a 15-minute walk from the apartment. A whole host of great shops and restaurants are also within walking distance, as well as the cinema and The Theatre Royal.
