Designed in muted tones and inspired by traditional Somerset style, Ziggy Rock blends rustic elegance with sustainable, modern living. With panoramic lake views, a wraparound garden, and generously proportioned rooms throughout, the home offers comfort and space in equal measure.


Downstairs


The entrance opens into a clean, modern hallway with a boot room and a simple country-style WC with a stone basin.
Beyond, sliding doors lead to an impressive kitchen, dining, and living area, with natural materials that reflect a modern Somerset farmhouse style.The handcrafted kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and gathering, with a large wooden country table at its heart. A generous island unit features top-of-the-range appliances, including an electric range cooker, Fisher & Paykel fridge-freezer, and a built-in pantry stocked with a coffee machine, microwave, and toaster—combining functionality with thoughtful design.

This space includes a private snug equipped with a Samsung Smart TV and Disney+ for quieter moments.

A utility room/scullery off the kitchen houses a second fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, Belfast sink, and storage space for practical needs, including dog essentials.

Large sliding glass doors open onto the patio with additional seating and uninterrupted views of the lake—a calm spot to sit and take in the surroundings.

Top Floor


Bedroom One – On the top floor: a showstopping Emperor bed, mesmerising lake views, and access to a private balcony with seating. The room includes a spacious en suite with a walk-in shower, freestanding bath, and double basins, as well as built-in wardrobes and ample cupboard space. For added comfort, the room is fitted with Daikin air conditioning and a TV, making it a perfect space to retreat and relax.
A cosy room (Bedroom Five) ideal for relaxing, featuring the option of a double sofa bed for extra sleeping space.A bathroom with a shower is also located on this floor.

On the landing, you’ll find a unique bar area equipped with an mQuvee drinks fridge and additional storage.

First floor:


Bedroom Two – A calm and inviting room featuring a super king bed, a travel cot, built-in wardrobes, and a private ensuite shower room.
Bedroom Three – Features a comfortable king bed dressed in soft, earthy tones, with a large ensuite bathroom and dual-aspect windows offering stunning views overlooking the lake.Bedroom Four – A bespoke bunk room with 4 single beds, perfect for children or additional guests, all in keeping with the home’s muted and calming aesthetic.

A family bathroom is situated on this floor, featuring a freestanding bathtub, a separate shower, double basins, and finished with charming country-style tiles for a classic farmhouse feel.

The private ‘wraparound’ garden offers ample space to take in the breathtaking views of the Lake. Whether you’re starting the day with a quiet coffee or ending it with dinner under the stars, the setting provides a perfect escape into nature.

Two travel cots can be provided on request. The home is also fitted with eco-friendly underfloor heating powered by heat-pump technology, and an electric vehicle charging point is available to guests.

Downstairs:
As you walk through the door at Blooms House you’re met with an impressive open plan space comprising the living, dining and kitchen area.
The kitchen is stylish yet functional, has top-of-the-line appliances including a built-in coffee machine, as well as a large kitchen island, perfect for socialising around.
This main living area has multiple large windows which fully open giving a light and airy feel.
Just across from the living area, you’ve got an office space if needed.

Upstairs:
As you walk upstairs, you’ll find a 4 spacious bedrooms that have all been carefully interior designed.

BEDROOM 1; The master bedroom features a super king size bed, modern en-suite with a pebbled detailed shower.

BEDROOM 2; comprises of a king size bed with convenient en-suite.

BEDROOM 3; another stylish king bedroom

BEDROOM 4; 2 single beds and an en-suite, ideal for younger guests or larger groups.

Outside:
You will enjoy the tranquil environment that this property has to offer, you will be set in the heart of rural Somerset nestled within the green woodlands. This property has an outside seating area, a BBQ, small pizza oven, rustic wood burner and a fire pit.

Additional Information:
The house benefits from the latest in eco-friendly heating with underfloor pipes powered by heat-pump technology, ensuring the floors remain warm and inviting. An electric car charging point adds a convenient touch for eco-conscious travellers.

This property is located in the exclusive Cookswood development which is set to encompass a number of eco-conscious architecturally designed homes. Please note, within the 400-acre gated estate there may be restricted areas due to development.

Being in the heart of the countryside and surrounded by ancient woodland, please be mindful, depending on the weather, there may be substantial amount of mud so don’t forget your wellies!

The location

The house is located in the Cookswood development spanning over 400 acres and set to encompass over 100 homes. As of 2024, approximately 30 homes have been completed. As the site is still under development some areas may be restricted due to the ongoing work. The house is located in a completed cluster with no active construction near by however you may see and hear some work happening in other areas of the site but this should not impact your stay

It is important to note that the nature of the site, being an old quarry, can be muddy if you go walking. Guests are advised to come prepared with wellies or suitable footwear.

There is a limit of 2 cars maximum at the property.
