Welcome to Brockview House, a beautiful eco-property situated in a repurposed quarry in rural Somerset. Brockview House is a dog-friendly getaway offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life while still being conveniently close to the cities of Bath, Bristol, Wells and Glastonbury.
The property boasts a spacious open plan, living, kitchen and dining room with spectacular countryside views. The generous garden includes a luxury hot tub and a BBQ allowing guests to relax and unwind at their leisure. There is parking for 4 cars (2 at the house and 2 cars at reception) and an EV charging point at the property ensuring guests are ready to explore the area.

DOWNSTAIRS
As you step into the home, you’ll be greeted by a striking hallway featuring stairs that lead to the upper level, a convenient downstairs cloakroom, and double doors that open into the main living area. These doors reveal a spacious, open-plan living, dining area, and a large, fully-equipped kitchen with all the modern amenities. Adjacent to the kitchen, you’ll find a separate utility room, complete with a washing machine and tumble dryer, perfect for muddy boots and outdoor attire. Additionally, there is a spare room which can act as a bedroom (using the sofa bed), an office or kids game room depending on your preference. This room has a TV (please note we do not provide game consoles).

The home also features a family bathroom, complete with a separate shower and bath. It is heated using an air source heat pump technology, which warms the house through underfloor pipes—providing a cozy, toasty feel underfoot, especially on those cold winter days.
Outside
Guests can enjoy the scenic views whilst relaxing in the luxurious hot tub. The garden also has a spacious patio complete with a BBQ and comfortable garden furniture. An electric car charging point is available at the property for your use.
The location
Brockview House is ideally positioned in a tranquil, natural setting within easy reach of Bath’s and Frome’s vibrant city centres.
The house is located in the Cookswood development spanning over 400 acres and set to encompass over 100 homes. As of 2024, approximately 30 homes have been completed. As the site is still under development some areas may be restricted due to the ongoing work. The house is located in a completed cluster with no active construction nearby however you may see and hear some work happening in other areas of the site but this should not impact your stay
It is important to note that the nature of the site, being an old quarry, can be muddy if you go walking. Guests are advised to come prepared with wellies or suitable footwear.
